The "Corn" curriculum to the right requires a password to download, it is "getlosthavefun".
Teachers: Let your children know that we have a General Store with items starting at 50 cents. Also, we can now make arrangements for food if you are not bringing lunches from school (we need a one week notice). Otherwise, everyone must bring their own lunch. The concessions are not provided during the weekdays.
The Maze at BlueJack Ridge is a 10 acre labyrinth of twists, turns, and dead ends, carved from corn stalks that tower above your head! Our mission is to EDUCATE and RECREATE!! What a great opportunity for you and your students to experience all that our Ranch has to offer!
When are Field Trips?
Wednesday thru Friday from 9am to 1pm. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
What is the cost of the Field trip and what is included?
School student tickets are $8 each. This price includes enhancements that are not included in our regular general admission. All students will experience the 10 acre Mississippi River Corn Maze, one acre Sage Grass Mini-Maze, Kids Corral & Petting Zoo, Hayride, Hay Jump, Duck Races, Education Center and a Souvenir. Teachers are admitted Free. Parents and extra guardians are admitted for the same price as students.
When is payment due?
Payment is due when the students arrive. Please have one check for the entire student group. We will be happy to invoice you ahead of time or on the day of the field trip. We can email, fax or mail the completed invoice. Extra parents and guardians may pay upon arrival.
Some planning Tips for Teachers:
Drinking water: We will provide one small cup of water per child (not intended for lunch).
Facilities: We do have boys and girls bathroom facilities with hand washing available.
Food: We have limited indoor eating areas. We try to plan so that we give everyone the opportunity to eat indoors however, you may choose to eat outdoors. There are plenty of picnic areas available. You must provide your own lunch.
Clothing: Please have children wear appropriate clothing for outdoor summer/fall weather. No flip-flops or sandals.
Safety: Please remember this is an all OUTDOOR activity. Please check your students for bee, dust, hay,etc. allergies. We do not administer medications to visitors. We will provide a minor emergency first aid kit.
