When are Field Trips?
Monday thru Friday from 9am to 1pm. You may arrive anytime after 9:00 am.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
What is the cost of the Field trip and what is included?
School student tickets are $8 each. This price includes enhancements that are not included in our regular general admission. All students will experience the 7 acre Maze, Teepee Town, Kids Corral & Petting Zoo, Buckaroo Bounce, MS Gold Rush, Hay Jump, Duck Races, Education Center, and a Souvenir. Teachers are admitted Free (excludes homeschool parents). All students, regardless of age, must pay $8. Parents,siblings, friends and extra guardians are admitted for the same price as students. Siblings under the age of 2 are free.
When is payment due?
Payment is due when the students arrive. Please have one check for the entire student group. We will be happy to invoice you ahead of time or on the day of the field trip. We can email, fax or mail the completed invoice. Extra parents and guardians may pay upon arrival.
Some planning Tips for Teachers:
Drinking water: We will provide one small cup of water per child (not intended for lunch).
Facilities: We do have boys and girls bathroom facilities with hand washing available.
Food: We have indoor and outdoor eating areas. We try to plan so that we give everyone the opportunity to eat indoors however, depending on the total number of visitors you need to eat earlier or later than usual. You may also choose to eat outdoors in our multiple picnic areas. You must provide your own lunch.
Clothing: Please have children wear appropriate clothing for outdoor summer/fall weather. No flip-flops or sandals.
Safety: Please remember this is an all OUTDOOR activity. Please check your students for bee, dust, hay,etc. allergies. We do not administer medications to visitors. We will provide a minor emergency first aid kit. In case of a more serious emergency we will call 911 and the visitor will be transported to Hattiesburg for emergency care.
